Oreo Mocha Frappuccino

Spring season calls for cold drinks just like this homemade Oreo Mocha Frappe! If you love coffee and Oreo, this is definitely for you! 

Made this frappe all from Mr Coffee ‘s Single-Serve Frappe™, Iced, and Hot Coffee Maker and Blender, which is super convenient and really doesn't need extra equipment to make frappe anymore.

Ingredients:

2 large scoops of ground coffee, using Mr Coffee’s measuring scoop

Whole Milk 

Ice 

3 tbsp homemade chocolate sauce*

5 piece of Oreo biscuit

*Homemade chocolate sauce 

½ cup water 

½ cup Dutched processed cocoa powder

¼ cup granulated sugar


Steps:

To make the chocolate sauce:

  1. In a saucepan, add in ½ cup water, ½ cup dutched processed cocoa powder, ¼ cup sugar and mix well.

  2. Place the saucepan over the stove top and bring the mixture to a simmer for about  5- 8 minutes, making sure the sugar is completely dissolved. 

  3. Remove from heat and let it cool. The sauce will gradually thicken as it cools down.

To make the mocha frappuccino:

  1. Add 2 large scoops of ground coffee to the brew basket and fill water to the water line.

  2. Add whole milk to the milk line of the blender. Add ice to the ice line of the blender.

  3. Brew the coffee and add it into the blender. 

  4. Add in 3 tbsp of chocolate sauce and blend it for about 1 minute. Pause and add in about 5 pieces of Oreo and blend it for another minute. Top it with whipped cream and sprinkle some crushed oreo. Now it's time to enjoy!
